Hello and welcome to our new website.  We're really glad you're here and able to find out a bit more about us. We're a family business and have  been selling books for almost twenty years.  All family members add to the shared knowledge that we bring to the business, some are more involved than others though.  We love what we do and take great pride in finding the right book for the right person, for selling the best condition second hand book at the best price and of getting that precious book to you as fast as possible.

Our stock is listed on various sites and the links below will take you directly to them.  If you want to buy lots of copies, come back to us to ask for a direct quote for postage. We will nearly always be able to do better than those quoted by ABE or Amazon.  Whilst you're here, have a look at our other services. My favourite is the Book Box. I can't imagine any thing nicer than opening a box, full of books, some that I've been waiting for, others personally selected for me by a professional librarian, based on my profile.

We have over 15000 titles in stock with a good selection of out of print fiction, Cornish titles and general non fiction. We also stock videos many of which are also out of print as well as Talking Books. Our stock holding changes daily and no one site contains our entire directory so it is worth looking at each on a regular basis. You can purchase from us directly and if you do we will be able to offer a better price.  We have been selling books for years and are proud of our high levels of customer satisfaction and regular customers.

Other Services

• Book buying - we will come to you if you would like to sell your books.
• Book boxes - many of our customers live overseas. We send them regular book boxes based on their profile and request. Each order is tailor made and means that people living in countries where English language books are hard to get hold of receive a lifeline every few months. Contact us for further details.
• Book searches - we will search to the ends of the earth to get your books! Let us know what you are looking for and we will search free of charge. If we find your title we will let you know the cost and then you can decide if you want to proceed.
